Therefore, an instructor will choose the photo-realistic environment in which the training scenario will occur. The instructor can customize everything from the presence of contraband, location of the suspect(s), bystanders, and more.
Instructors have a range of choices regarding characters within SURVIVR’s virtual reality police training simulator, and we’re constantly adding more options and variations. In addition, the opportunity to randomly generate characters is also available, meaning the suspect will always change from training session to training session.
Every SURVIVR simulator comes standard with a sidearm, taser, OC spray, flashlight, baton, and the agency’s choice of AR-15 or shotgun. SURVIVR matches the standard-issue weapons of the agencies we serve, so your trainees can build muscle memory and learn to transition from one to the other seamlessly.
